Update: Ben’s appearance on the BKGH panel at ComiKaze has been cancelled according to a reputable source. He says that all is well.
There was a lot of disappointment recently when Ben had to cancel an appearance at the U.K. Chevron 7.7 convention as well as speculation why he cancelled. The reason is a timing conflict. Ben will be appearing on the “Bad Kids Go To Hell” panel at the ComiKaze Expo to be held the same weekend in Los Angeles, CA.
This reporter assumes that his appearance on the panel is part of a marketing obligation since he immediately promised that he would return to the U.K. in April 2012. Meanwhile, the ComiKaze Expo website has a very nice introduction to Ben’s film and television work as well as an explanation of his pivotable role as Max Firewater in the comedic horror film recently shot at Spiderwood Studios near Dallas, TX and on location in Austin, TX.
The ComiKaze Expo Facebook page explains that “Comikaze is the first ever large scale comic, gaming, anime, sci-fi, fantasy, horror, Tattoo & pop culture expo in Los Angeles.
