Jeffrey Berman, Executive Producer and writer of the upcoming web series, Naught For Hire, to star Ben Browder as Nick Naught, wrote responses to a series of cogent questions submitted by The Naught P.I. Agency. His answers, published today, August 17, 2011, on the front page of Naught For Hire‘s leading fan site and titled, “A Naught for Hire Progress Report,” provide nuggets of information and confirmation about how serious the effort has been to get Naught For Hire broadcast in the high quality manner it deserves.

Naught P.I. Agency (NPIA): As executive producer, what is Ben’s involvement with Naught?
Jeffrey Berman (JB): Ben is actively producing the project with me and is involved in every aspect of it.
NPIA: Is the direction Paramount is going with the show the same direction you had in mind? Is there anything they have in mind that surprised you?
JB: Okay, so here’s the rub, right now my hands are tied when it comes to discussing any of this. I know it’s frustrating to hear that, believe me, it’s frustrating for me too, but the upside is that we want this to be a quality project and we won’t rush into making something that’s anything less than our best. When we can discuss the project in detail I promise the fans will be the first to know.
NPIA: What happened to the comic book (a prequel set ten years prior to where Naught for Hire the series picks up)?
JB: We’re still working on it and in fact, I hope to be able to discuss more about this soon, too.
